In today’s work place, Computers are one of the most important things we use. Computers help us compile raw data for any type of work or research.
Let me give you an example
of that. Cell phone companies, such as Rogers use computers to store and retrieve
information for millions of its customers to quickly resolve problems and
increase the pace of their work. According to a recent report, (http://mobilesyrup.com/2010/05/10/report-30-1-million-subscribers-by-2014-rogers-to-lead-with-11-3-million/),
Rogers will see a total subscriber increase from 8.5 million in 2009 to 11.3
million in 2014! Without computers doing the data work for Rogers, there is undeniably
no possible way Rogers can maintain and manage this high number of subscribers.
